A number of gloves

Foley's new material: touch data collection gloves

Foley New Materials debuted a new generation of tactile data collection gloves at WRC in conjunction with storage technology. The product is a deep fusion of tactile gesture recognition gloves and tactile sensing gloves, designed to address the critical gap in tactile data gloves in physical intelligence training.

The touch data collection glove uses human hands naturally as its core, by integrating high-density touch sensing units in the fingertips, thumb and wrist areas, distributing hundreds of touch sensing points, and fully supporting full-arm three-dimensional sensing; at the same time, the flexible curved patch design significantly reduces the sensation of wearing straps, ensuring that long-term, large-scale data collection remains naturally comfortable.

Warwick: Gloves for collecting data for visual + tactile + postural + postural

At the WRC, the first-ever launch of the WRC, the Huawei Vision + Touch + Point Positive Data Collection Handset, which uses a pressure resistance + textile hybrid modeling scheme, with a single-handed real sensor number of nearly 1,000 points, sensing points covering the fingers, thumbs, palms and soles, a lightweight design to make touch the core, can simultaneously collect multi-dimensional interaction data, alleviate the shortage of industry touch training samples.

The glove is also equipped with a self-developed touch simulation SDK, with fully aligned virtual performance indicators, simulation data can be directly substituted for real-machine collection, data costs can be reduced by 90%, training efficiency can be increased by 10 times, further opening up the simulation to real-machine landing.

On August 17, Apoptosis Technology released a modular multi-dimensional touchscreen glove called the Magic Glove. The Magic Glove is fully equipped with 15 tracking units, 16 independent touch sensing regions and 1000+ sensor arrays, with a touch module thickness of 2.1mm and sensitivity of up to 10mN.

Most notably, the Magic Glove adds a hard-core base to the touch sensing module, which is due to the fact that Apoptosis has prioritized the cleanliness of the data to avoid interference from the fingers that trigger the glove's self-twisting and stretching when making movements, so that recorded signals come from real external contact.

This is the first time I've ever heard of this game.

On 14 August, Sony Technology officially released the Tacknit Glove G1 deep touch data glove, a glove that uses a single woven form, covers 216 high-density sensing points in the palm of the hand and fingers, which can capture fine-grained changes in intensity; the hardware uses a magnetic-absorption-separated wristband control box design, the glove body can be quickly replaced, adapts to multiple continuous collection tasks, and significantly reduces marginal costs.

On the commercialization path, G1 has been positioned as a standardized industrial consumer product, relying on its own production base, replicating the mature control system of automotive sensor production lines in touch gloves, core wiring preparation, integrated weaving to achieve automated autonomous production, with the goal of reducing the threshold of corporate access to touch data through scale production.
